July security update hitting AT&T Galaxy S6/S6 Edge

AT&T after seeding July patch to latest flagships, now started updating Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge. The Android 7.0 Nougat based July security update hitting Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge bonded with AT&T carrier, the update arrives as build G920AUCS6EQG1 for AT&T S6 G920A while G925AUCS6EQG1 for AT&T S6 Edge G925A. The update also brings fixes for minor glitches in the firmware to enhance stability.

The security updates do not seem major update but they are very important to install, the security patch once installed on your device becomes a great protection against Malware and different vulnerabilities. So we recommend you to keep your device up to date regarding any latest firmware update. The new update is available via OTA and Kies just follow the processes below to update your device via Kies or Odin.
