Honor 9 and Honor V9 also getting Android 8.0 Oreo update
Google the biggest search giant rolled out it’s Android 8.0 Oreo update for supported Nexus and Pixel device backs in August, as of now these devices are enjoying official Android 8.1 Oreo update. Other OEM including Huawei which is struggling hard to update it’s device with the latest Oreo update before the start of next year. Huawei after rolling out Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Mate 9, Mate 9 Pro and Porsche Design Mate 9, added two more smartphones to the list which includes Honor 9 and Honor V9.
Honor 9 and Honor V9 also getting Android 8.0 Oreo update
Both devices are getting the Oreo update via beta channel, the Android 8.0 Oreo update rolled out for Honor 9 and Honor V9 user who were enrolled in the beta program and then other users will get it. If you are the proud owner of a Honor 9 or the Honor V9 and willing to get the Oreo update right away on your device, you need to register yourself via Huawei’s Member Service application. The Oreo update will update your device from EMUI 5.1 to EMUI 8.0 with version B323, other goodies of Android Oreo include, Autofill, picture-in-picture, redesigned Settings app, notification options, and more.
Note: If you are a beta user then your device must be running build B322 build to receive stable Oreo OTA, while non-beta users have to upgrade to B190 in case of Honor 9, while B208 in case Honor V9.
