AT&T released January security patch for Galaxy S5 Active, S6 Active
AT&T is on roll and it started rolling out Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow based January security patch for it’s Galaxy S5 Active and S6 Active. The updates are rolling out via OTA(Over The Air), carrying build number G870AUCS2DPK3 for S5 Active and G890AUCU5CPK3 for S6 Active. These updates are low sized updates because they just carry security patches so if you update your device via Mobile data it will be downloaded quickly. The firmware for S5 Active weighs about 27MB where as 14MB for the S6 Active.
Galaxy S5 Active is not eligible for the Nougat update but the S6 Active is still in the waiting list, however latest flagships have already sweeten their mouth with the Nougat taste.
