Xperia X Concept receives Android 7.1.1 Nougat build 38.3.A.0.41

Sony Mobile’s concept started rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Sony Xperia X. Sony is the first manufacturer to release the stock Nougat update for Xperia X in 2017, the Nougat update for Xperia X carries build number 38.3.A.0.41 and is live via OTA. OTA roll out is only for the users who are already registered with Experimental track update, the regular release with take a couple of weeks to start.

The Nougat update for Xperia X is based on Android build NMF26F8 and carries multiple new features including, added restart option in the power menu, faster camera start up time, if you own a PlayStation 4 the update Nougat 38.3.A.0.41 update will let you play PS4 games on your Xperia X (DualShock controller is not supported right at the moment). The update has also brought updated security patches dated as, Dec 1 2016.
