Vodafone Australia released Android 7.1 Nougat for Xperia Z5

Finally Australian users on Vodafone started getting Android 7.1 Nougat update on their Xperia Z5 units. Unlocked Xperia Z5 along other Xperia devices have got update to Android 7.1.1 Nougat back in July but Vodafone Australia announced to release it later. Now it’s see today is the day, Vodafone Australia started seeding Android 7.1 Nougat update for Xperia Z5 E6653.

The build number for the update is still unknown but if you own a Vodafone linked Xperia Z5 then you’ll get the OTA update anytime soon or head to Settings > About device > System updates. Once you install the Android 7.1 Nougat firmware on Vodafone Australian Xperia Z5 you will be able to get features like apps shortcut support, rounded icons, blue light filter, Daydream and loads of new emojis.
