Verizon HTC 10 gets October security patch build 2.41.605.30
HTC 10 on Verizon carrier has started receiving latest security patch update. The update brings latest security patch for the month of October 2017 with improved security against various exposures and vulnerabilities around the device. As per change log the October patch for Verizon HTC 10 also brings fix for the Blueborne issues along a few under the hood improvements and bug fixes.
The October patch for Verizon HTC 10 arrives as build 2.41.605.30, where you can update your device right now because it is an OTA update. Just head to Settings > About device section and perform system update check from there, it is recommended to charge your device at minimum 60% to avoid shut down(which is dangerous) during the process.
HTC 10 is also an awaiting candidate for Android 8.0 Nougat update, HTC has already announced to release the latest Oreo update for HTC U11, HTC U Ultra. The Google’s latest OS update Android 8.0 Oreo also bring in multiple new features like, Picture In Picture mode, snooze notifications, improvements in Doze mode, revamped settings menu and much more.
Other OEMs including Samsung has already started developing Oreo update for it’s latest flagships. Google owned Nexus and Pixel phones are already on Android 8.1 Oreo firmware now lets see when does HTC launches Oreo for supported devices.
