Sony is seeding February security patch to Xperia X, XZ, X Performance and X Compact

As soon as the month started, Sony is now seeding it’s devices with the latest security patches for the ongoing month. The latest update released for Xperia X Performance and Xperia XZ carries build number 39.2.A.0.417 and contains security update for the month of February. While the Xperia X and Xperia X Compact receiving the February security patch as build number 34.2.A.0.311.

Sony seems to be efficient in providing it’s devices the latest firmware updates while all the other OEM’s are still preparing for it. All these updates are rolling out via OTA so catch the OTA by heading towards, Settings > About Phone > Software updates. You will be notified if the new firmware awaits you else you have to wait for the firmware ftf, that we will upload later as soon as we get our hands on it.
