Essential phone receiving an OTA build NMJ20 that brings fingerprint sensor gestures, KRACK fix and more
Essential phone is getting a new firmware update from it’s manufacturer, the firmware on Essential phone had some issue at launch so the Essential team quickly responded and released multiple fixes and improvements in the firmware. Today, support Team at Essential is seeding another minor update that weighs around 74MB, the update arrives as build NMJ20 which deals the with trouble maker vulnerability named KRACK along a bunch of other improvements as well.
The NMJ20 update for Essential phone also brings gesture to the fingerprint sensor, once you install the update on your device you can use the fingerprint scanner for opening or closing the notification shade. The NMJ20 update doesn’t brings anything major a few security improvements and fingerprint gesture but it is recommend to keep your phone updated regarding firmware updates.
