Android 7.1.1 Nougat NPI26.48-38 for Verizon Moto G4 Play

The NPI26.48-38 update is released pretty late as compared to unlocked Moto G4 Play that got Android 7.1.1 Nougat soak test back in June 2017. Some impatient users have already installed Android 7.1.1 Nougat custom ROMs on their devices but there is no match to stock firmware because of it’s stability. Well to be honest it’s better late then never, the OTA is rolling out as we speak if you own a Verizon Moto G4 Play head to Settings > About Phone > System updates.

The Android 7.1.1 Nougat being a major update should be pretty hefty so we recommend you to get some unlimited data plan or WiFi network. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat NPI26.48-38 brings Split screen, Bundled notifications, Updated emoji’s from Unicode 9.0, integrated Doze mode to give you better battery backup, Data Saver and ‘Close all’ feature to close the all the apps on a Single Tap.

Stay tuned for more updates!
