Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 and Nokia 8 will get Android 8.0 Oreo update

The HMD Global’s latest Nokia branded smartphone have got much fame in the Global market. The Android powered Nokia smartphones are getting minor updates that include monthly security updates right on the time as promised by the manufacturer on the launch day. But when it comes to major firmware updates you’ll be glad to know that yesterday, “Uho Sarvikas”, the Chief Product Officer at HMD Global, tweeted earlier today that the entire Nokia lineup will get Android 8.0 Oreo update soon.

The entire lineup includes Nokia 3 as well where generally mid ranger smartphones don’t get major updates at all. There is no exact time frame given for the Oreo release but we can expect the roll out could begin soon. Android 8.0 Oreo brings plethora of new features such as picture-in-picture (PIP) mode, Notification badges, Notifications Visual Cleanup, Always-On Display, Instant Apps and alot more.
