Moto X Pure Edition gets Android 7.0 Nougat update in US
Android 7.0 Nougat rolls out for Moto X Pure Edition in US. Starting from today, the update is live for the Moto X Pure Edition users in living in US. The stock Nougat update won’t hit all users at once but it will gradually make it’s way to every single users who have this device. Motorola kept it promise, back in Octotber Moto X Pure Edition was on the list of device that were going to get Nougat firmware and i think today is the day.
Some Reddit users are reporting about receiving the OTA yet others are getting impatient for the update. The Nougat update for Moto X Pure Edition also brings in plethora of new features including, quick settings customization, split screen and enhanced Moto Actions. The other goodies of Nougat are integrated Doze mode for better battery backup, Data Saver to save background data and managing data connection.
If you haven’t received the update, try to update your device manually via OTA, go to Settings > About device > System updates. You would be notified if your device is eligible for the update but you must have working internet connection to download the firmware along a well charged device.
