Android 7.1.1 Nougat Stable build for S7/S7 Edge is under testing by Vodafone Australia

We have just received this screenshot in it is finally cleared that Vodafone is testing stable build of Android 7.1.1 Nougat for it’s Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. Samsung is directly jumping to a stable Android 7.1.1 Nougat update instead of Android 7.0, the testing is in progress and will be released in a few days. The Android 7.1.1 Nougat for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge has recently confirmed by Samsung and the official roll out expected to begin in a few days.

Even that the screenshot is not showing the exact Nougat version but as we have already stated that Samsung has announced to release the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for their latest flagships. The screenshot from Vodafone Australia also showing the Nougat update in testing, this would be the first stable release for Galaxy S7 as beta registrations are already stopped.

The final date for the Nougat release is not confirmed yet but the recent screenshot is a clear evidence that it is going to happen in a few days. Carrier adopted devices are already slow in releasing firmware update but this times both are going parallel so just wait a few days until you get an update notification on your device.

Cheers!
