US Cellular released security updates for Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge, S7, S7 Edge, Grand Prime and Note Edge

US Cellular is on the roll for the latest security patch updates for it’s devices, including Galaxy S5, S6, S6 Edge, S7, S7 Edge, Grand Prime and Note Edge. The updates carry different build number regarding the device model, you can see the list below for details about the firmware updates and process to flash the updates via OTA or Odin.

All the devices except Galaxy Grand Prime have already received Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow firmware and US Cellular hasn’t announced the Nougat details for supported devices. So these updates are based on Marshmallow firmware and brought latest security patches along minor improvements and bug fixes.

This time when Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge users are waiting for the Nougat firmware these minor update don’t seems much attractive but it is always recommended to flash the latest available firmware on your device because new firmware always have some improvements over the previous one and security against Viruses and Malware.
