Android Nougat update for Galaxy S7 Edge G935F is finally on the roll [G935FXXU1DPLR firmware]

Galaxy S7 Edge model SM-G935F is finally going to taste it’s stable Android 7.0 Nougat build today, Samsung has begun the roll out of it’s official Android 7.0 Nougat update for Galaxy S7 Edge model SM-G935F. Samsung has already closed it’s beta program and announced to release the Nougat update for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in January, so it seems today is the day. The update bears build number XXU1DPLR and if you unite the model number the complete build will look like G935FXXU1DPLR.

The stock Nougat update for Galaxy S7 Edge is installed by an XDA member and he shared the screenshot too that we have posted above. The G935FXXU1DPLR build is not the beta update as we already mentioned above that beta program no longer exists now. The Nougat for S7 G930F will be released anytime soon because S7 Edge and S7 both were listed to receive the Nougat update. The Android Nougat update for Galaxy S7 Edge brought latest security patches for the month of January along other improvements.

You can see the details about Nougat firmware in the firmware information sections below. Samsung has limited the Nougat roll out for limited users as a soak test, perhaps those one who have already got beta updates. The full Nougat roll out for both devices S7 and S7 Edge is near and will be released anytime now, except the ones stuck with the carrier bonded devices. So far no details emerge about what the final Nougat build brings along with it but we can assume that it should be same as last Nougat beta update.
