After Brazil, Moto X Play owners in India are getting the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update today. The update arrives as build 26.31.1.en.03 that weighs around 763.2MB and is heading to the Moto X Play units in the Indian region. Android 7.1.1 Nougat update for Moto X Play was released back in June in a few regions around the globe, since Moto X Play is a non Nexus device that’s why the update takes so long to hit. But finally it seems that Motorola is serious about delivering it’s long awaited Nougat update for Moto X Play units.

The update has been released via OTA carrying firmware version 26.31.1.en.03, being a major update it will directly install Android 7.1.1 Nougat from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It is also reported that the device is going to get the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update soon as it can be seen running the latest version of Android on the GFXBench.
