Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus spotted running Android 8.0 Oreo update on Geekbench

Samsung has already announced to release the Android 8.0 Oreo latest OS update for it’s 2017 flagships Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. The Android Oreo beta program will soon be started by the Korean Tech giant because today both Galaxy S8 variants (Qualcomm processor (msm8998) and Exynos (universal8895) have been seen running Android 8.0 Oreo update on Geekbench.

Samsung will first roll out beta updates for Galaxy S8 and then the final update will be pushed towards both devices. The exact time estimate is not known at the moment but we can expect the first roll out to begin in the OCT end or start of November. The Android 8.0 Oreo packs latest features inside it, some of them are Picture In Picture mode, improved Doze mode, snooze notifications, auto-fills for apps and a lot more.
