Fortunately Team Lineage OS has settled down their infrastructure and now we can see the official Lineage OS 14.1 build gradually rolling out for multiple device. The official Lineage OS builds have everything same as CyanogenMod infact the installation process is same as well. Nexus 6 has already received official Android 7.1.1 Nougat but if you are getting bore of stock UI and want to customize your device then try the Lineage OS 14.1 nightly, these updates are the initial build you may/may not find some glitches in the firmware but over the firmware is stable and can be used as daily driver.
