Xperia XZ Premium gets 47.1.A.12.75 ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Spectre’ patches
A new system update is rolling out for Xperia XZ Premium. The update brings fixes for ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Spectre’ patches, with February 2018 security patch and minor improvements. The February 2018 security update for Xperia XZ Premium is arriving as build 47.1.A.12.75 once installed on the device patches the ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Spectre’ vulnerabilities and a bunch of other improvements in the System to enhance stability.
The February 2018 patch 47.1.A.12.75 doesn’t increments the OS that stays on Android 8.0 Oreo. If you own an Xperia XZ Premium, then give a try to capture the OTA manually, go to Settings > About phone > System updates.
