Verizon J3 Eclipse/Mission updated to December security patch
It’s start of new year and US giant carrier Verizon has started updating it’s mid range Samsung devices on it’s network with the latest security patch. Today, two more devices including Verizon Galaxy J3 Eclipse and J3 Mission are getting the December security patch in form of an OTA update. The Verizon J3 update is landing as build J327VPPVRU1AQF3 for Verizon Galaxy J3 Mission and build J327VVRU1AQF3 for J3 Eclipse.
The update once installed on the device brings security patch for the month of December along fixes for KRACK WiFi Exploit and also tweaks the system for minor improvements. Although the updates look minor but are very important to install, because these updates provide shield protection against Virus and other dangerous vulnerabilities.

We have posted two possible way including to get the December OTA directly on your device, one is simple manual search for the OTA and the other is to update via Kies application.
The OTA has landed as we speak, you can head to Settings > About device > System updates and check for the new updates if available. (Remember to update via this way, your device must not be rooted)
