Update March 2018 Patch on Verizon S6 Edge Plus and Note 5
March 2018 security patch OTA is now live for Galaxy Note 5 and S6 Edge Plus units on Verizon. The US based carrier is seeding the March 2018 OTA to Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 on it’s network, the update is arriving as build NRD90M.N920VVRS3CRC1 for the Verizon Note 5 and build NRD90M.G928VVRS3CRC1 released for S6 Edge Plus. The update brings important security fixes with some under the hood improvements which include bug fixes as well. If you are carrying a Verizon exclusive Note 5 or S6 Edge Plus then we recommend you to update your device right away by following our instructions below.

The update doesn’t increments the OS version, still it stays on Android 7.0 Nougat but this is an important update to install. If you are running older firmware on your device then this guide for you, in this post we have mentioned each possible way to update your device right away without wasting time. How to install March 2018 patch on Verizon S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 via Odin
Early preparations:
Your device should be charged 70% at minimum to avoid shutting down during the process.
Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging
Back up your important data.
Download Odin tool 3.12.3 from this link
Download the latest USB drivers for Samsung from this link and then install them on PC.
Process to install latest update on your Samsung phone
Download the Firmware file from the link below and if available and extract it.
It’s the device to turn off your device completely.
Now boot your device into Download Mode, to do so follow this guide
Once in download Mode, follow this guide to update stock Nougat firmware on Verizon S6 Edge Plus and Note 5 via Odin.
