Sprint LG V20 gets LS997ZVC latest security update
Sprint has started seeding a new system update to LG V20 units on it’s network. The latest security patch update for Sprint LG V20 LS997 is arriving as build LS997ZVC that installs newer security patch on the device along some under the hood improvements in the firmware. The BoostMobile forum has not explained the details of the security patch update, so we cannot confirm the month for which it is released. The last update released for LG V20 was LS997ZVB that brought November patch on the device so in order to get the LS997ZVC update on your device via OTA your device must be running LS997ZVB firmware.

The LS997ZVC latest update has landed via OTA as we speak, if your device un-rooted then you are eligible to get the update knock on your device. You can also manually grab it right away by going to Settings > About device > System updates, perform a software check, you’ll be notified if the update is available for your device. It is good to keep your device charged before you proceed to downloading or installing process.
The Sprint LG V20 is a successor of LG V10 with slightly improved hardware, the device released in 2016, Q4. It carries a 5.7 inches, IPS LCD with the resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels at 513 ppi, under the hood octa-core Snapdragon 820 processor along 4GB of RAM and Andreno 530 GPU. Dual camera 16MP + 8MP setup on the rear and 5MP selfie shooter, running Android 7.0 Nougat out of box, fingerprint protection and powered by 3200mAh Battery.
