Manually install UCS2DPK3 update on AT&T Note Edge N915A [January security update]

With the start of new month, AT&T has started seeding the monthly security update to it’s Galaxy Note Edge model SM-N915A. The update carries build number N915AUCS2DPK3, January security patch and weighs about 36.5MB. You can more details about the update in the firmware details sections, the update is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and is rolling out via OTA. You can also greet the new firmware using Samsung Kies as well, here we have posted a guide to update firmware via Kies on AT&T Note Edge N915A.

Below we have also mentioned the process to flash N915AUCS2DPK3 update on AT&T Note Edge via Odin if you are unable to get update via Kies or OTA. We have already posted similar guide along same process for Samsung’s latest flagships because it has nothing to do with the change build number or Android version, all you need is an Odin tool along the firmware tar and a PC with latest Samsung USB drivers installed on it.

Pre-requisite:

Your device should be charged 70% at minimum to avoid shutting down during the process.

Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging

Download and extract Odin 3.12.3 from here

Process:

Now turn off your device completely.
