Install Galaxy A5 SM-A520F stock Nougat A520FXXU2BQH4 update

Finally it seems the wait is over now, Samsung has started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat update for  2017 Galaxy A5 SM-A520F. Just a day ago, the Galaxy A7 2017 units tasted Nougat, last month both Galaxy A5 and A7 devices were spotted running Android 7.0 Nougat on certification site Wi-Fi Alliance. The regular OTA roll out has been started for the Russian region that arrives as build number A520FXXU2BQH4 and CSC A520FOXE2BQG7. You can easily install it on your device via OTA, KIES or Odin process mentioned below.

Once you install the Android 7.0 Nougat firmware on Galaxy A5 SM-A520F, you’ll be able to access the major Nougat features like improved UX, Split screen feature, integrated Doze mode for better battery backup, redesigned notifications shade, updated security patches and more. The stock Nougat A520FXXU2BQH4 firmware can be updated via Kies as well, but we recommend you try the OTA update first, go to Settings > About device > Check software updates.

Early preparations:

Your device should be charged 70% at minimum to avoid shutting down during the process.

Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging

Back up your important data.

Download Odin tool 3.12.3 from this link

Download the latest USB drivers for Samsung from this link and then install them on PC.
