February 2018 update hits Xperia XZ, Xperia XZs and X Performance [Meltdown and Spectre fix]

Sony after updating Xperia XZ Premium on February 2018 patch now started seeding Xperia XZ, Xperia XZs and X Performance with the same update. The update brings fixes for ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Spectre’ patches, with February 2018 security patch and minor improvements. The February 2018 security update for Xperia XZ, Xperia XZs and X Performance is arriving as build 47.1.A.12.75 once installed on the device patches the ‘Meltdown’ and ‘Spectre’ vulnerabilities and a bunch of other improvements in the System to enhance stability.

The February 2018 patch 47.1.A.12.75 doesn’t increments the OS that stays on Android 8.0 Oreo. If you own an Xperia XZ, Xperia XZs or X Performance, then give a try to capture the OTA manually, go to Settings > About phone > System updates.
