Download stock Nougat G925FXXU5EQBG update for Galaxy S6 Edge G925F

Samsung has finally released the long awaited Nougat update for it’s international Galaxy S6 Edge G925F. The update is based on Android 7.0 Nougat carrying build number G925FXXU5EQBG is rolling out in Europe. The update is available as an OTA and if you have a stock unrooted device then you are going to hear the OTA knocking your device anytime soon.

The Galaxy S6 Edge Nougat update was expected by the end of last month but later we heard a news about it’s delay for reviewing the firmware. But today, it is finally released. The update brings all the major Nougat features along redesigned TouchWiz interface and more. Some of the features like Change screen resolution or Performance mode like in S7 Nougat are not available in this update.

The stock Nougat firmware can be updated via Kies as well, but we recommend you try the OTA update first, go to Settings > About device > Check software updates. We have posted the same tutorial for the other Galaxy devices so the process remains the same because it has nothing to do with the change build number or Android version, all you need is an Odin tool along the firmware tar and a PC with latest Samsung USB drivers installed on it.
