Docomo S7 Edge SC-02H gets Stock Nougat SC02HOMU1BQC4 firmware in Japan

Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Docomo units are now getting official Nougat update from Samsung. The Nougat roll out took much delay to get released for Japan because most of the Galaxy S7 users around the globe have received it already. The Nougat update for Docomo Galaxy S7 Edge SC-02H carries build number SC02HOMU1BQC4 and brings all the latest features including integrated Doze mode, Split Screen and enhanced UX experience. The stock Nougat firmware can be updated via Kies as well, but we recommend you try the OTA update first, go to Settings > About device > Check software updates.

Early preparations:

Your device should be charged 70% at minimum to avoid shutting down during the process.

Enable USB Debugging. Go to Settings > Developer Options > Enable USB debugging

Download Odin tool 3.12.3 from this link

Download the latest USB drivers for Samsung from this link and then install them on PC.
