August security update hitting Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus units via build XXU1AQH3
Samsung is kicked off August security patch for Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus units in Germany, Turkey and UAE. The update arrives via OTA as build G950FXXU1AQH3 for Galaxy S8 and G955FXXU1AQH3 for Galaxy S8+, the update weighs around 600MB so the update not only fixes monthly patch but also brings improvements in the firmware. The update patches 40 Common Vulnerabilities where 28 in the open-source Android OS and 12 on the firmware.

The update is based on Android 7.0 Nougat because it’s only a security update but we recommend you to install these important security updates on your device. If you have no idea how to upgrade your device firmware then follow the three alternate methods below.
Methods to update Galaxy S8 and S8+ on XXU1AQH3 firmware
OTA: If you own a Galaxy S8 or S8 Plus, head to Settings > About device section > Perform a system update check. If the OTA is available you’ll be notified else try the Kies method below.

Odin: Grab the G950FXXU1AQH3 for S8 from here and G955FXXU1AQH3 for S8+ from here and then follow instructions over here to install the update via Odin.
