AT&T Released December Patch BQL1 OTA for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Units On It’s Network
Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge units bonded with AT&T have now started getting December patch OTA. This is the first update of 2018 released for both devices, the update, the update is now via OTA as we speak and the update will arrives as build G930AUCS4BQL1 for AT&T S7 while AT&T S7 Edge gets build G935AUCS4BQL1. However the update is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat because it’s not a OS increment update but a minor OTA released to fix security of the device as well as to deal with Blueborne vulnerability.
AT&T Released December Patch BQL1 OTA for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge
The update installs security patch for the month of December, 2017 along other minor improvements and bug fixes. The December patch weighs around 50MB if you are a proud owners of AT&T S7/S7 Edge then the update is going to hit your device anytime soon. Also follow the update by going through Settings > About device > System updates.
Never think these updates as optional because these minor OTA’s are not only responsible for improving device security but also crush some bugs and under the hood improvements.
