July security update hitting AT&T Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus

American carrier AT&T is active again, after rolling out update for S7 Active, it has started rolling out latest monthly update for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus. The update arriving as build G950USQS1AQF7 for AT&T S8 and AT&T S8 Plus gets G955USQS1AQF7 build that installs July security patch along other minor improvements and system enhancements. The update is now live via OTA as we speak weighs around 137MB so if you are a user of AT&T S8 or S8+ then the update is going to hit your device anytime soon. Also follow the update by going through Settings > About device > System updates.

Although these updates look minor but are very important too, the purpose of security updates is to protect your device from Malware and Exposures that mostly come through internet.
