Zenfone 3 Laser new update fixes multiple issues [Tutorial]

Asus Zenfone 3 Laser ZC551KL gets a new firmware update from it’s manufacturer. The update arrives as firmware version ZC551KL_ WW_30.42.31.1 rolls out via OTA, the OTA can take some time because of regional delays but you must get ready for it, go to Settings > About device > System updates.

If the update is available you’ll be notified, just download and install it on your device. The update brings security improvements along under the hood tweaks and fixes for Bluetooth related issues. You can also download the v30.42.31.1 update for ZenFone 3 Laser ZC551KL and install it manually.

Once in recovery, choose “apply update from sdcard” and select the downloaded firmware zip file.

Confirm the install and wait for it to complete.
