Verizon Droid Turbo 2 August security patch build 25.216.2 is released

Verizon is rolling out latest security patch update for Motorola’s Droid Turbo 2. The update carries build number 25.216.2 that brings security patch for the month of August 2017 along with multiple improvements and big fixes in the firmware. Droid Turbo 2 stock Nougat update has been released a few months back now this new update is also based on Android 7.0 Nougat.

The 25.216.2 OTA for Droid Turbo 2 is rolling out via OTA so if you own a stock un-rooted device then you can head to Settings > System updates, check for the latest update if available. Before you begin the download or installation process charge your device at minimum 60% and also make a safe back up of your data and important files.
