Update January security update on Verizon Moto Z Play Droid Edition.

Verizon Moto Z Play is receiving another latest firmware update carrying latest security patch and multiple improvements. The update carries build number mc024.104-35-1-19-3, packed with security updates for the month of January, 2017, the update is live via OTA and if you have a non-rooted device then you are going to receive the update anytime soon. Simply go to Settings > About phone > Software updates, check for the latest firmware updates.

The update is same like the previous update, fixing low volume issue for notifications and updated security patch. If your device is rooted then you are not going to receive the OTA update, so you can only update your device by following the process below. We are trying to get the firmware link as we get our hands on it we will update the link as soon as possible.

Install mc024.104-35-1-19-3 firmware on Verizon Moto Z Play via stock recovery

Download the mc024.104-35-1-19-3 firmware.

Step 1: Connect your device with PC and move the firmware file on your device
Step 2: Reboot into recovery mode and select apply update from SD card.
Step 3: Choose the firmware file and Select yes.
Step 4: The process is now started and wait for it to complete.
