Unlock bootloader, root and install TWRP on Asus ZenFone 3

Install ADB & Fastboot drivers on PC, follow this guide to install the adb-fastboot drivers within 15 seconds.
Enable USB debugging on your device. Go to Settings > Developer options > USB debugging.
If you can’t see the Developer options in settings menu, then you need to enable them. Go to Settings > About device > Tap the build number 7 times until it says ‘You are now a Developer’.
How to unlock bootloader on Asus Zenfone 3
Download the master zip for Asus Zenfone 3 [Unlock app+TWRP recovery+SuperSU+fastboot drivers]
Extract the downloaded master zip file in a specific folder on any convenient location.
Now turn off your device and boot it into Bootloader Mode by pressing the Volume Up and Power simultaneously.
Now connect your device to PC
Click on the files below to unlock the bootloader on your Asus Zenfone 3. (According to device model)

If these command didn’t work for you then simply type these command in command window.
fastboot flash all unlock_ze520kl.raw (for ZE520KL)

Process to install TWRP recovery on Asus ZenFone 3
Grab the TWRP recovery for Asus ZenFone 3 from the RootZenfone3-master folder.
Save the downloaded TWRP recovery file in a new folder on your PC.

Process to root Asus ZenFone 3
Download the SuperSU zip from this link.
Connect your device to PC and copy the downloaded SuperSU zip on the internal storage of your device.
Now it’s the time to reboot your device into TWRP recovery mode.
To do so, turn off your phone completely.
Now press Volume Down + Power at the same time until it enters fastboot mode, now highlight the recovery option using volume keys and use Power button to select it. This time you’ll select the recovery mode.
Your device will enter recovery, now flash the SuperSU zip from there.
