Stock Nougat NDNS25.137-24-1-2 update for Verizon Moto Z Play is released

Verizon is seeding official Android 7.0 Nougat firmware for Moto Z Play users in US. If you own a Verizon Moto Z Play then the Android 7.0 update is going to knock at your device at your anytime soon. The update brings software version NDNS25.137-24-1-2 and Verizon released Nougat for it’s Moto Z Play soon after Roger delivered it to Moto Z Play in Canada.

Some of the main Nougat features are Multi-Window support, new layout with more customized stuff, bundles notification, quick app notification and much more. If you are already on stock Android Marshmallow firmware then you are good to go along with the guide. First give a try for the OTA, go to Settings >> About device >> Firmware Updates.

Process to install Android 7.0 Nougat NDNS25.137-24-1-2 firmware on Moto Z Play via recovery

Step 1: Connect your device with PC and move the firmware file on your device
Step 2: Reboot into recovery mode and select apply update from SD card.
Step 3: Choose the firmware file and Select yes.
Step 4: The process is now started and wait for it to complete.
