Sprint is rolling out feature enriched latest firmware update for the Android phones on it’s network. The update brings CallingPLUS along Wholesale VoWifi calling features packed inside it, so far we have seen three devices Galaxy J7 Perx, LG Stylo 3, and Galaxy S8/S8 Plus got this update and now LG G6 joins the party. The WiFi calling support is already enabled on LG G6 but the CallingPLUS feature is a new thing you probably haven’t heard about it.
The CallingPLUS feature is a combination of both VoLTE and WiFi calling, for more information you can see this official description. The new update lands as build number LS993ZV8, that not only brings the above mentioned features but also packs some latest security patches and under the hood connectivity and battery improvements as well.The update weighs around 775MB in size so you need to stay connected with a working internet connection to download the LS993ZV8 firmware.
