Samsung launches Galaxy Tab Active2 – A rugged device

Samsung launches a rugged tablet known as Galaxy Tab Active2. So far we have seen Samsung’s stylish devices with sleek and modern design but the new Galaxy Tab Active2 is ahead of the form. The device is aimed to be used for business, it’s durable build designed for bearing tough usage, infact great news for rough handlers.

The device is not so much impressive in specs department but it gives you all the basic features like S-Pen slot for handwriting and smart select embedded in the rubber frame, the Galaxy Tab Active2 also includes IP68 water-resistant technology just like other Samsung devices do.

Specifications of Galaxy Tab Active2

The Galaxy Tab Active2 is carrying a giant 8.0-inch WXGA TFT display supporting a resolution of 1280×800, behind the display and under the hood the device is equipped with Exynos 7870 processor along 3GB of RAM on board and 16GB internal storage with an SD Card support. In the optics department, it includes, 8.0MP Auto-Focus rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP selfie snapper on the front.

The hardware is powered by a 4450mAh user replaceable battery, the overall device weighs around 415g and dimensions as 127.6 x 214.7 x 9.9mm. The box opened device will be running Android 7.1 Nougat on the board, comes as WiFi and LTE variant. The price details are still unknown but it will be available for purchase in the selected markets later this month.
