OnePlus 3 closed beta group gets Android 8.0 Oreo OnePlus3Oxygen_16_1709061630 update

OnePlus already announced to release the Android 8.0 Oreo update for OnePlus 3/3T, and it seems today is the day. OnePlus 3 closed beta group started getting Android 8.0 Oreo update from OnePlus. The update has been seeded via OTA as build number OnePlus3Oxygen_16_1709061630 that weighs around 799MB, the update for OnePlus 3T and OnePlus 5 will be released soon. Team OnePlus is hoping to released the Android Oreo public beta by the end of the September.

As this Android Oreo OnePlus3Oxygen_16_1709061630 update is a closed beta update that means it won’t be hitting all devices at once but selected users will get the update as testing purposes. Most of the features in Android Oreo including WiFi, Blutooth, NFC and hotspot are not working at the moment but the stable beta build will continue to hit OnePlus 3 until final stable build rolls out.
