November security patch with Verizon’s AppFlash for Moto Z Play [build NDN26.118-23-12-3]

It’s almost end of November, biggest US carrier Verizon maintained a good pace regarding release of the latest security patch update towards their respective units. As of today, Motorola and Lenovo’s joint production unit Moto Z Play Droid Edition is getting Android 7.0 Nougat based latest November security patch in the US.

The update arrives as build NDN26.118-23-12-3 while OS version remains the same, the update installs security patch for the month of November with Verizon’s AppFlash feature and under the hood improvements. The November security patch for Moto Z Play resolves multiple critical vulnerabilities in the firmware. You can download the update via OTA but remember to charge your device at minimum 60% to avoid shutdown during the process and also set up a working internet connection to download the update. It is always recommended to keep your device updated regarding firmware updates.
