Moto Z stock Nougat is released in Canada and India with build NCL25.86-15

Motorola has started seeding the stock Nougat update for it’s Moto Z in India and Canada. The firmware is based on Android 7.0 Nougat, carrying build no NCL25.86-15 is going to make it’s first appearance on Moto Z anytime soon, so if you are living in those countries then you are lucky enough as the OTA is now live for you.

The official Android 7.0 Nougat build for Moto Z is not only the latest version of Android but Motorola has also pushed multiple improvements in overall firmware to make the device performance smooth. Some of the main feature that we see in this update are, improved Doze mode that, Quick settings toggle is modified and added option for quick reply on Notifications shade.

If you have already updated your Moto Z on Nougat update then enjoy the latest firmware. But if you think you are getting trouble while receiving the OTA notification then check that your device is fully stock and unrooted because the sometime rooted device are unable to receive the latest firmware because of security issues.

Stock firmware always get more delays as multiple testings are made on the firmware before delivering the firmware to consumers. Apart from it AOSP ROMs are already available for a variety of device including Moto Z before it’s official Nougat firmware.
