Moto Z Play gets April security patch via build NPNS25.137-24-1-9

Motorola is seeding monthly security update to Moto Z Play users in US. The minor security fix update carrying security improvements install the latest security patch for the month of April along minor improvements and bug fixes. Motorola already released stock Nougat update for Moto Z family so now it is seeding minor updates to improve device security. The April security update for Moto Z Play is also based on Android 7.0 Nougat, weighs around 150MB and bumps the build number to NPNS25.137-24-1-9.

Steps to install NPNS25.137-24-1-9 firmware on Moto Z Play via stock recovery

Step 1: Connect your device with PC and move the firmware file on your device
Step 2: Reboot into recovery mode and select apply update from SD card.
Step 3: Choose the firmware file and Select yes.
Step 4: The process is now started and wait for it to complete.
