Lineage OS 15.0 features and release date [Android 8.0 O]

Most popular CyanogenMod is already dead, now custom ROM lovers have their full focus on official Lineage OS ROMs. Lineage OS took over CyanogenMod, taking development start from the existing CM source code Lineage OS has introduced more customized features in their latest ROMs. Now official Lineage OS has developed their latest Lineage OS 14.1 build for hundreds of devices, the ROM is based on Android 7.1.1 Nougat along full features.

Android 8.0 O has been released as Developer Previews for supported Pixel and nexus devices, Google will release the stable Android 8.0 O build for it’s devices in August 2017. Along with Android 8.0 stable build, Google will also roll out source code for developers that helps them developing Android 8.0 O based Lineage OS 15 ROMs. Lineage OS ROMs got much fame for their versatile features and quick development.

Lineage OS 15.0 Features

Lineage OS 15 custom ROM will be equipped with all the feature adopted from Google stock Android 8.0 O firmware. Some of these feature include, Android 8.0 O with redesigned system UI and quick setting tiles, new emoji’s, Picture in-Picture mode, colorful latest wallpapers, improved snoozing option, Notification badges, Theme Engine and a lot more.

Lineage OS 15.0 release date

As we mentioned above the Google will roll out Android 8.0 O to stable channel in August 2017, so Lineage OS 15.0 builds for Android devices might release by the end of 2017.
