July security update released for Galaxy J7, J5 and J1 Mini Prime

It’s mid July and Samsung has started seeding security updates to multiple devices including Galaxy J7 2017, Galaxy J5 2017 and Ji Mini Prime. July security update for Galaxy J7 2017 arrives as build number J730FXXU1AQG1, Galaxy J5 2017 as J530FXWU1AQF5 and Galaxy J1 Mini Prime as J106BUBU0AQG1.

The July patch update for Galaxy J7, J5 is based on Android 7.0 Nougat while Galaxy J1 Mini Prime runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Since these updates look minor but are very important for the device security, stay regular on getting security updates on your device because these updates make your device secure from Virus and Malware.

You can head to Settings > About phone > System updates, check for the updates to install it via OTA. There is Odin method as well just grab the firmware from the link below and follow the instructions below.
