Install Pixel Launcher from Android O on any Android Device without root

Google rolled out Android O Developer Preview 2 for supported Nexus and Pixel devices. The Android O DP2 bring multiple new features and modified apps inside system, the stock Pixel launcher in Android O is also improved now. The great news is that, non Pixel devices running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow or above can easily install Pixel Launcher from Android O DP2.

The overall design of Android O Pixel Launcher doesn’t feel much changed but there are some improvements like now you can access the widget of a certain app without pulling out the full widget panel, to do so just long-press the app. The developers at XDA have ported the Pixel Launcher from Android O and made it compatible to be installed on any Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow running device.

How to install Pixel Launcher from Android O on any Android device

Download the Android O DP2 Pixel Launcher. Here [Pixel Launcher O-3952143]

Now go to Settings > Security > Enable Unknown Sources

Transfer the downloaded Android O DP2 Pixel Launcher on your device storage.

Now open File Manager and choose the Android O DP2 Pixel Launcher apk to install it.

Once installed, press the Home button and choose the Android O Pixel Launcher as default.
