Huawei Honor 6X Nougat beta program started in USA [How to join]

If you own a Huawei Honor 6X and wish to get the Android 7.0 Nougat update before the final build that would be expected release in Q2, 2017 then you are should join the Huawei Nougat beta program. Huawei USA has started the Honor 6x Nougat beta program for the users living in USA, according to the company’s tweet, the Honor 6X Nougat beta update is going live today.

So if you want to be tester of Nougat EMUI 5.0 on Huawei Honor 6X then all you need to do is note your device imei number and send it to huaweifut@huawei.com. If your device is eligible for the update you’ll be notified and that’s it. The beta updates will continue to release until the final roll out happen somewhere between April or May 2017.

Huawei is pretty silent on releasing Android 7.0 Nougat update to it’s supported devices and infact Nougat Beta program is great for those who are getting impatient to run Nougat on their Huawei Honor 6X without waiting for the stable release. Although beta builds would not be stable enough because beta updates are test builds but not too bad to be used for daily driver.

Note: You need to send two imei number to the provided Huawei website if you own a Dual SIM variant.
