After two Developer Previews, Search giant finally throws the stable Android 8.1.0 Oreo build for supported Nexus and Pixel units. The stable Android 8.1.0 Oreo update for Nexus and Pixel devices is released as build OPM1.171019.011, which brings a few tweaks to the existing Oreo formula. The update is released for Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, the Google Pixel and Pixel XL, the Pixel C tablet, and the Nexus 6P and 5X. The update mostly introduces flagship’s feature on older Google device which includes, Google Pixel 2 Launcher with a new bottom search bar and At a Glance widget. The update also brings December security patch on Nexus and Pixel phones, that resolves 19 issues in the firmware including fix for KRACK Vulnerability too.
