Download install Moto G4 Plus June security patch NPJS25.93-14-8 build

Moto G4 Plus users in India are getting a new firmware update today. The Android 7.0 Nougat based update arrives as build NPJS25.93-14-8, installs June security patch on Moto G4 Plus with some minor tweaks and system enhancements to improve stability. The update weighs around 56MB so it is just a security patch update, the update would have been more interesting if it had brought Android 7.1.1 Nougat update just like other Motorola devices.
The update is now live via OTA if you haven’t got the update yet, just head to Settings > About device > System updates. Or you can just download the NPJS25.93-14-8 firmware from the link below and install it manually via adb-sideload. (Process mentioned below).

Before you begin:
Your device should be charged minimum 60% to avoid shut down during the process.

Process to install NPJS25.93-14-8 on Moto G4 Plus
Download the NPJS25.93-14-8 OTA for Moto G4 Plus and transfer the downloaded zip file in a specific folder.
Open the same folder press Shift+Right Click on any empty area in the folder then choose ‘Open command window here’.
Now connect your device to PC.
Type the following command to reboot your device into recovery mode
adb reboot recovery
Once in recovery mode, select ‘Install from USB’ and then type the following command to start the adb sideload process.
adb sideload Blur_Version.25.201.4.athene.retail.en.US.zip
The installation process will start and wait for it to complete. Once the process is completed simply type
fastboot reboot
That’s it! You have now firmware installed on your Moto G4 Plus.
