AT&T Blackberry Priv gets AAJ925 Marshmallow based latest security patch update

AT&T has started pushing latest security update for AT&T Blackberry Priv. The update is based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow bumps the build number to AAJ925 and install the latest security patch for the ongoing month, dated as March 5. The AAJ925 update also fixes some bugs along system enhancements and minor improvements. If you own an AT&T Blackberry Priv then we recommend you to update your device on the latest firmware as soon as possible because an unsecure device has a greater risk of getting infected from Virus or Malware.

The AAJ925 update rolls out via and you can also manually check for the OTA, go to Settings > About device > Software updates, just wait for it until is shows you the notification telling that an OTA is waiting for you. AT&T is rolling out security updates for multiple devices carrying AT&T tag, now Blackberry Priv is just another device to receive the AAJ925 security update. You need to charge your device to a safe level, say 70% to avoid shutting down during installation process.
