ASUS started updating ZenFone 4 Max with ZenUI 4.0 [V14.2016.1711.215]

As promised, ASUS has begin updating ZenFone 4 Max with the latest ZenUI 4.0 update. Just like Samsung’s TouchWiz, HTC’s Sense, ASUS has it’s own custom Skin known as ZenUI, the ZenUI 4.0 is the latest update released along side Zenfone 4. Earlier Asus promised to release the new ZenUI 4.0 update for ZenFone 4 Max and it seems today is the day, other devices will get the update soon. The ZenUI 4.0 update for Asus ZenFone 4 Max carries version V14.2016.1711.215 that brings ZenUI 4.0 and all the latest features on the device inlcuding latest security patch for the month of December, improved double tap and more.

The new ZenUI 4.0 brings multiple new and improved features, according to Asus the new ZenFone 4.0 is much smarter and smoother then before, the number of pre-installed apps (bloatware) have been limited to 13 from 35 apps. If you haven’t got the update yet, go to Settings > About phone > System updates. Give a manually check for the OTA if available.
