April 2018 Patch released for Moto G5s and G5s Plus

Moto G5s and G5s Plus devices in the Europe (RETEU) are now receiving latest April 2018 Security Patch update in the region. We have already seen Moto G5 Plus units received the latest monthly patch and now G5s Plus and G5s Plus are all set to receive it now. The April 2018 Security Patch arrives as NPPS26.102-49-8 for the Moto G5s, and NPPS26.116-61-8 for the G5s Plus. That includes fixes for all the security lacks in the firmware by replacing the older security patches with the new ones. The April 2018 Security Patch for Moto G5s Plus includes patches for a critical vulnerability found in the firmware. The update also brings multiple other improvements in the firmware to enhance stability in the System so we recommend you to keep your phone updated regarding firmware updates.

Unlock your device.
Open the settings app from the app drawer
Now head to about phone section and then system updates.
Give a check to system updates, please make sure your device is connected to a working internet connection
