Android 8.0 Oreo beta released for Nokia 6
Just a few days back, Nokia rolled out Oreo beta update for Nokia 5 and at the same event it was said that the Nokia 6 will join the party soon. Now it seems the time has come, Nokia 6 units registered with Oreo beta program have started getting the Oreo open beta update. The Chief Product Officer at HMD Global announced the release of Nokia 6 Oreo beta, he mentioned that, “Nokia 6 is joining the Nokia beta labs program”.
If you have already register for the program then you might be receiving the Oreo beta for Nokia 6 anytime now. The Oreo beta update for Nokia 6 brings all the stock features from Android 8.0 Oreo including faster app installation time, Picture-in-Picture, auto fill texts, notification dots, new emojis, latest security patches for the month of December and more.
The other products including Nokia 3 will be eligible for beta labs program soon. You must have a working Nokia 6 unit.

Then you need to validate your device’s IMEI number along carrier.
Note: Once you get registered with the Beta program but later you decided not to take Oreo beta until it gets stable you can simply de-register yourself from the program to stay on the Nougat firmware.
